Tru by Hilton Louisville Airport

The rooms were extremely spacious, and recently remodeled, with several amenities. Breakfast was great, and the pancake machine worked just fine every morning. It is right by the airport, so bring ear plugs. The king bed was a little hard, and only had three pillows rather than four. They should add a sign on how to operate the automatic blinds, because we never could figure it out. Parking was odd, since there are only a few close spots, and then a giant lot that appears to be shared amongst several hotels. We did, however, have to report an electrical issue with room 419, as there was a burn mark on the switch, my phone shocked my when it was charging (never happened before), and a power back charged in about twenty minutes when it normally take a couple of hours. They said they would have it inspected.

Good once asked about removing 20$ holding charge, good breakfast, maybe Tru by Hilton on east side is better overall and location but has been a while. Front desk checking out lady was nice, Jesus bless :)

It’s a Hi-Tech hotel, but technology failed them. CNN on every TV at breakfast? Folks eating breakfast sat as far from the tvs as possible, and I watched a lot of people walk past the tvs heading to the elevators, shaking their heads. Put on the Cooking or Golf channels, please! In the room, again the tv failed, getting stuck on the startup menus with “widget failed” errors. It was a fight to actually make the tv work like a tv. Everything else in the hotel was easy and fine. I might stay there again, but I just wouldn’t spend time in the lobby and bring my own IPAD to watch.

True delight! I love their open concept lobby - dining area/game room. At breakfast (complementary) in the morning, it's such a happy place with people eating, playing pool and relaxing on the couches. Also, free shuttle to and from the airport. Thank you!

No closets or anywhere to really put your clothes except a small rack, so you basically live out of your bag while you are there. We didnt eat there because there was a volleyball team staying and took most of the space during breakfast time, but we didnt mind. From what we saw of the dining area, it was very clean and maintained

Awesome! I know everyone's experience is different and I was anxious after reading some poor reviews but I have to give them 4 stars. I had a nice, beautiful clean almost perfect room, a really quiet atmosphere, the lobby was amazing to relax, I don't have anything negative to say to be honest and I always do my best to help others with my reviews, the only thing I miss was a swimming pool.

Clean rooms with well maintained accommodations. The employees are friendly. I did have a long delay for one of my requests, but they did follow up and helped me out. The bed was comfortable but it was really noisy, as was the chairs. Not sure if they're just worn out or broken.

Overall good experience with clean rooms. It is an airport hotel so expect to hear flights. I can confirm the previous reviews that the pillows aren’t great. But the bed was lovely. The lighting on the bathroom mirror wasn’t adequate and the toilet seat is oddly small. The room is small but you know that going in and I feel it is what you pay for. But I also didn’t receive my Hilton Honors complimentary water when arriving which seems to be forgotten about at many of their hotels these days.
